Chairman Alhaji Suleiman Umar Honoured with CEO’s Award at Prudential Sport Football Awards

The Chairman of our football club, Alhaji Suleiman Umar, was recognized for his outstanding contribution to football development over the weekend, receiving the prestigious CEO’s Award at the 2023/2024 Prudential Sport Football Awards. The event celebrated excellence in football on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Matrix International Academy event hall.

Alhaji Suleiman Umar’s leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing football in Gombe State and beyond have earned him widespread respect in the sports community. His initiatives have not only fostered growth within the club but have also helped nurture local talent and uplift the profile of football in Gombe State and beyond. This recognition is a testament to his tireless efforts to promote sports development.

In addition to the Chairman’s accolade, the club celebrated individual achievements on the field. Our central defender, Haruna Aliyu, was awarded the Chindo Abubakar Overall Best Player award for his outstanding performances throughout the season. Furthermore, Auwalu Abubakar was recognized among the top three most improved players, highlighting the progress and potential within the team.
