Doma United Drawn in Conference D in Revised NNL Draw
Following its relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season, Doma United is set to start its journey to return to the top-flight league after being drawn in Conference D of the Nigeria National League (NNL). This is following a revised NNL draw aimed at organizing clubs regionally, a strategic move made in light of current economic conditions to ease travel and logistical demands on clubs.
In Conference D, Doma United will face six other northern clubs, including Kebbi United FC, Basira FC, Adamawa United FC, Kada Warriors FC, Yobe Desert Stars, and Sporting Supreme FC.
The chairman of Doma United, Alhaji Suleiman Umar has implemented significant changes to strengthen the team for a swift return to the NPFL.
While Doma United will have a bye in the first week of the league, they are set to kick off their campaign in the second match week, hosting Kebbi United.
In addition to Doma United’s group, the other northern conference in the NNL will feature Gombe United, Sokoto United FC, Zamfara United FC, Barau FC, Mighty Jets FC, Wikki Tourist FC, and Mailantarki Care FC.
In the southern conference A, there is Sporting Lagos, Solution FC, First Bank FC, Gateway FC, Kun Khalifa FC, Abakiliki FC, Madiba FC, Emmalex FC, Godswill Akpabio FC, Osun United, Calabar Rovers.
While Conference B houses Smart City, del FC, 1472 FC, Beyond Limits, Warri Wolves, Ijele FC, Inter Lagos, Crown FC, Dakada FC, Igbajo Utd, Abia Comets.
