Fine Out Why The Gombe State Federations Cup Final Was Postponed

The Gombe State FA has announced the postponement of the earlier scheduled Federations Cup final.

The final was early set for Friday 17th March, 2023 but according a release sign by the secretary, Mr Sada, the final was postponed due to the upcoming Governorship and House Assembly members elections coming up on Saturday 18th March, 2023.

“Due to Governorship And State Assembly elections on 18/3/2023, I am directed to inform all concerned that the state Federation Cup final will not take place on 17/3/2023 as earlier scheduled and therefore postponed till after the elections.”

The release did not state the new date for the finals but as soon the date is announced, we will communicate it to our fans.

Doma United will face Jewel FC in the finals and the two clubs will represent the state in the 2023 Aiteo Cup group stages.

Meanwhile, Doma United continues its preparation ahead of the second stanza of the NPFL later this month.
