The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the rescheduling of all fixtures for Match Days 15 and 16. The decision, communicated through a letter sent to all participating clubs, cited logistical challenges associated with the festive period as the primary reason for the adjustment.
In a letter, signed by the league’s Chief Operating Officer Davidson Owumi, stated, “In consideration of difficult logistics associated with the festive period, we have found it reasonable to rearrange fixtures of match days 15 and 16.” This move aims to ensure smooth operations and better accommodate the challenges posed by the holiday season.
As a result of this decision, Match Day 15, originally scheduled for 24th December, has now been shifted to 21st December. Similarly, Match Day 16, which was initially slated for 31st December, will now take place on the 28th of December.
Doma United is gearing up to face off against Lobi Stars in the highly anticipated Week 14 fixture. The match is set to take place on Sunday, 17th December, at the Lafia Stadium.
