In a show of familiarity and sportsmanship, the management of Doma United Football Club paid a cortesy visit to the Permanent Secretary of the Gombe State Sports Commission, Alh. Mohammed Kolo Bajoga in his office.
Doma United, competes in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). The team took this opportunity to not only extend their felicitations to the newly appointed Permanent Secretary Alh. Mohammed Kolo Bajoga but also to share insights into their preparation for the upcoming NPFL season.
During the meeting, Murtala Sambo, the Secretary of Doma United FC, conveyed heartfelt congratulations to Alh. Mohammed Kolo Bajoga on behalf of the club’s management. He warmly welcomed the new Permanent Secretary and Director of Sports, Mrs. Zainab Ishaku Adamu, into the realm of sports administration. Sambo highlighted the visible capabilities of Mrs. Zainab Ishaku Adamu and wished her well in her role.
The Secretary also took the opportunity to express gratitude to the Gombe State Sports Commission for their unwavering support of Doma United FC over the years. Sambo acknowledged the steadfast sponsorship of the club by Alh. Suleiman Umar, the Chairman of Doma United, which has been instrumental in its nearly three-decade existence. The Commission’s provision of training facilities and match venues was commended, while a plea was made for the continuation of this symbiotic relationship into the upcoming NPFL season.
