Find Out Why Our Match Day 16 Against Rivers United Will Not Hold This Weekend

The Interim Management Committee of the Nigeria Premier Football League has postponed our MD16 encounter against Rivers United due to the club’s engagement in the continent.

According to the IMC, the postponement became necessary due to Rivers United’s first and second leg matches in the 2022/2023 CAF Confederations Cup against Young Africans of Tanzania on the 23rd & 30th of April respectively. Just as their MD15 against Wikki Tourist was postponed last weekend, also our MD16 which was supposed to be on Sunday 30th April has also been reschedule to a date yet to be communicated by the IMC.

Rivers United lost the first leg 0-2 on Sunday and have travelled to Dar es Salaam for the second leg.

Doma United sits second on the group B log of the ongoing NPFL23 with 25 points, one behind league leaders Lobi Stars who have 26.

The Savnnah Tigers’ next encounter will be a home game against Enugu Rangers at the pantami Stadium on Sunday 7th May, 2023 at the Pantami Stadium by 4PM.
