MATCH PREVIEW: Dakkada FC V Doma United
Doma United plays their second away game in the second stanza of the NPFL as they are in Uyo to face Dakkada FC on Saturday.
A slight struggle in recent games has seen Dakkada occupy the last spot on the group B log but they remain well placed to revive their season and finish strong.
Doma United’s 1-0 win at home against Niger Tornadoes on Saturday moved Akinade Onigbinde’s Tigers up to 3rd, just a point behind the table toppers Lobi Stars and second placed Rivers United.
Doma United’s centre back Haruna Aliyu returned to training after limping off during the Tigers’ 1-0 win over Tornadoes on Sunday and has travelled with the team to Uyo.
Doma United beat Dakkada FC 1-0 in the first stanza of the season courtesy of Emmanuel Luke Ogwuche early second half goal. It was United’s first win the NPFL after gaining promotion.
Doma United have played 12 matches, won 5, drew 4 and lost 3 and are placed on the group B log with 19 points while Dakkada who have played 12 games also have won 2, lost 8, drew 2 and have collected 8 points on the road.
